Uniforms
The MSMCS Uniform
The school uniform supports simplicity, belonging, readiness, and respect for the shared learning environment.
A uniform does not make every child the same. It reduces unnecessary distraction and helps students approach the school day with an understanding that they are part of a community with common expectations.
Students and parents share responsibility for ensuring that uniforms are complete, clean, properly fitted, and worn according to the current school code.
Uniform Requirements
Select the appropriate uniform guide below before ordering.
The published guide should clearly identify:
- Required daily garments.
- Approved colors and styles.
- Logo requirements.
- Shoes and socks.
- Belts and accessories.
- Approved outerwear.
- Physical education uniforms.
- Mass or formal uniforms.
- Seasonal options.
- Grooming expectations.
- Items that are not permitted.
- Any differences by program or grade.
Uniform Requirements
MSMCS currently identifies School Uniforms by Tommy Hilfiger as its uniform provider. The school must confirm the relationship and uniform code for 2026–27 before the new page is published.
If confirmed:
- Visit Global Schoolwear.
- Select Find Your School.
- Enter the MSMCS partner-school code MOUN03, or search for Mount St. Michael Catholic School.
- Select the correct student grade and program.
- Review the required logo and garment options.
- Consult the provider’s size chart before ordering.
- Allow adequate time for processing, embroidery, shipping, and exchanges.
Uniform-provider customer service: 1-877-825-2860
The school is not responsible for delays, sizing errors, or purchases made outside the approved catalog.
Order Early
Families should not wait until the final days before school begins to place a uniform order.
Ordering early provides time to:
- Confirm fit.
- Exchange incorrect sizes.
- Allow for logo application.
- Replace discontinued or unavailable items.
- Purchase shoes and accessories.
- Label each garment.
Newly admitted families should ask Admissions whether uniform-ordering deadlines or fitting opportunities are available.
Used-Uniform Opportunities
Gently used uniforms can reduce cost and extend the useful life of school clothing.
Each summer, MSMCS hosts a uniform exchange. Only current, approved uniform pieces in good condition should be donated or exchanged.
Label Every Garment
Uniform sweaters, jackets, sweatshirts, coats, and other removable items should be labeled with the student’s first and last name.
The school should provide a designated location for recovered items. Unclaimed property may be donated or discarded according to current school policy.
Uniform Questions
For questions about the uniform code, dress expectations, or whether a particular item is approved, contact the school before purchasing at 214-337-0244 or info@msmcatholic.org.
School Calendar
Plan the School Year
The official school calendar identifies the major instructional dates, holidays, professional-development days, testing periods, early dismissals, parent conferences, and school breaks.
Calendar Changes
Dates and times may change because of weather, facilities, diocesan decisions, or other circumstances.
When a change occurs, MSMCS will communicate through its approved family channels, which may include:
- The Family Portal.
- School email.
- Text notification.
- The live website calendar.
- Direct communication from a teacher or administrator.
Parents should rely on direct school communication for last-minute changes rather than a previously downloaded or printed calendar.
Families are responsible for keeping their contact information current in the Family Portal.
