We are delighted you are considering Mount St. Michael Catholic School for not only your child(ren) but for you as well. It is our strong belief in the partnership between families and for the formation of your children through this spiritually rich and academically rigorous school.

Application for the 2023-2024 school year begins January 1, 2023. MSMCS adheres to a priority admissions process, giving priority to applications completed by February 1, 2023. Applications are accepted in an on-going process throughout the school year. Should classes be filled, and acceptance granted, students will be placed on a wait list.

Some families ask: While our devout Christian beliefs are parallel to those of the Catholic faith and we seek a strong faith-based education such as MSMCS offers, we do not worship in the Catholic church. Can a non-Catholic Christian fit in and thrive within the MSM environment?

The answer to this question is an emphatic, “Yes!”

ATTEND A FAMILY INTERVIEW
Once the above requirements are complete, our Director of Admissions will schedule a family interview with our Principal Mrs Melissa Castro.

SUBMIT AN ONLINE APPLICATION

The online application includes student information, family information, and a $100 non-refundable application fee.

All applicants are required to complete placement testing at MSMCS administered by an educational administrator. Our Director of Admissions will coordinate the testing date and time.

NEW PARENT ORIENTATION
When a student is granted acceptance and the enrollment process is completed, a «Save the Date» notification will be sent.
New Parent Orientation is held on an evening in May.

TRIAL PERIOD FOR NEW STUDENTS
All new students accepted to Mount St. Michael Catholic School are accepted on a trial basis in which we expect the student to perform both academically and socially. If we see the student is struggling to meet the norms at MSMCS in both areas, with assistance from the parent(s), MSMCS has the right to intervene to allow the student to excel. If the student continues to struggle, then MSMCS will recommend a more suitable school atmosphere for the student.
