"I remember my 2nd grade teachings to receive my first Holy Communion for the first time. My teacher at the time was so reverent, that even though I didn't quite understand fully what I was partaking in, I held so much reverence because of her, and the way she taught and acted around these teachings. It is something that stuck with me throughout my life. It is a feeling I have gone back to several times, especially in moments of doubt, to know there is something very real happening in the Mass. I am grateful to have been a witness to teachers who truly live out their faith.
